I don't know much about him but what I do remember about him was good. We'll see...

Dont be concerned about the spread with Mallet.

He was the OC at Tulane when Shaun "Statue" King was QB and he led the country in passing efficiency.

The spread is about spreading the defense out. There are passing spreads (Texas Tech and Purdue) and there are running teams like WVU and Illinois.

He is 44 and is 60-26 at WVU. 3 straight 10+ wins and has his team in a BCS bowl.
