Just came back from off the coast of Cali, Cortes Bank, about 100 miles out. Had to be towed by jet ski to get on this mutha.

wearing some sort of space suit and landed in the water and all of the sudden had a surfboard and dolphins were swimming with him.

No, in reality he just opened a parachute at some point. The whole surfing thing was just done for the music video.

On top of that - how'd they get the third person view of him falling? Did someone else fall with him?

There were three cameras collecting film of the jump. One was mounted to the top of the platform. The second was strapped to the helmet. The third was underneath the platform.
