So I meet the tow truck driver this morning in the parking lot where my car died
(Meijer -- where the fuck were you when I needed you, Herm?) and I decide to try to drive it once more, just for shits.

And, of course, the damn thing seems fine. Drove it around like nothing was ever the matter.

I had them tow it anyways since it (and the rental car) is on Saturn's dime. Might as well have them give it a once over before I sell it (hopefully this week).

The new car I want just got the 0% financing assigned to it by GM.

IIRC, Gl'enn you aksed whether you should try to get an extra couple of bucks out of the car since it had a new tranny. Aren't you glad you didn't get that extra money out of the potential buyers and now have to face them on your front porch?
