Honestly. I think by now the issue with Dean is relevance. His brand of cool wasn't unique, so later generations find their own representative to take his place. His work was tiny (Rebel Without a Cause and ... ... ... ) and doesn't exactly influence much. Basically, who the fuck gives a shit about the guy anymore?

Its like when your dad walks up to you and brings up one of those old as shit folk bands that released one album that happened to coincide with his birthday and got good reviews but the band released another album, went on to have individual success in other bands, or even toured together.
