here's a thread thread that is long past due. Bob Ross has inspired many millionses of people to pick up their paint brushes, their paint, a canvas, an easel, some paint thinner, a pallette, and spend thousands of dollars on a habit that they will give up faster than sex with their spouse.
So, to kick this thread off, here's a little trip down memory lane. Enjoy the "Joy of Painting with Bob Ross" (P.S.: The videos and pictures that appear on this thread will consist of alot of videos and pictures made while Bob was still alive).

Two for Tuesday
OK, it's not Tuesday, but here is a real classic from the archives of this golden oldie from PBS:

A Tribut
Now that we've had a little fun with the Great Bob Ross, and he's probably laughing his head off up there in the great art supply store in the sky (or, he may be in HELL!), here's a little tribute to His Artness:

Oh man. My ex-gf/best friend is the biggest Bob Ross fan. For halloween a few years back she went as bob ross and I (trying to save money since it was a Halloween party with her friends) went as the canvas. I wore a white t-shirt with a happy little tree painted on the front of it. Easiest halloween costume ever.

Why didn't you just go with your boner sticking out and call that the "Happy Tree"?

Here's something you see a little bit more of nowadays: Some out takes from the Bob Ross show. It wasn't always the polished, professional show we had to watch on TV...

I am a Bob Ross fan.
By that I mean I can watch about 3 minutes and find a few laughs.

Bob Ross was my speed on many Saturday mornings.
I can't paint worth a lick, but it was soothing to watch him do his thing.

Before there was WCSX Sunday Morning Over Easy, there was Bob Ross. The perfect hangover cure.
