I hope MOLA doesn't mind me posting this here.
Can't see why he would.

I've heard some of his shit. It's really fucking good. If you can make it, seriously check it out.
He has some samples in there as well.
I've been debating coming up from Toledo for it. I have a group of friends that are extremely into music, they'd love it.
Well Cleveland is a great place for Rock, thats for sure.Quote:

Come on through if you get the chance!
It sounds awesome, I am really curious as to your style. I'm definitely looking forward to it and will follow it.
Is there anywhere we can listen to any of it in that-there internet MOLA?
Did anyone go to the show?
Couldn't :( But eventually I plan on making it to one.
Sorry y'all, I've been busy. We don't have anything recorded, but as soon as we do, I'll hook everyone up with some tunes. We have another show lined up. We'll be performing at Fifth Ave Billiards in Royal Oak on Tues, June 10. For more info, check out www.myspace.com/definitionband.
I'm pumped. The last show was AWESOME. We covered Voodoo Child and it was well received. I was particularly nervous considering the fact that it's such a masterpiece. We had a great turnout and we hope to have an even bigger turnout on 6-10. Come through if you can! If I can get enough people to show, we might be able to have a regular gig there and I love that place so please come check it out!
Special guest band, MoTownOwns, and you're golden.Quote:

Yessir! That's a MOLA1 special right there. Thanks for the props!!!
I need some WTF'ers to come check out my show fools! Come on out!
I'll keep everyone posted.
Varsity came through along with about 80-100 peeps,
I need some more WTFDetroit peeps at the next one.
I want to hear some stuff MOLA, for sure. I am a ways away though, hopefully something works out where I'm already in the area.
I'll make it out to a show when I'm not busy with my band.
So like, get another gig already so I can check out the band.
We have a show at The Magic Bag
in Ferndale on Friday, September 5th.
Please try to come out and bring as many people as you can! We're headlining this gig and I really need a big ass crowd. I promise we won't disappoint. We put on a great show.
Well, I finally have some music up on the page. The recording isn't the best as we put it together quickly, but it's a lot easier to have people come and see us if they know what the music is going to sound like.
We're going to be putting the album together when I get back from my wedding and honeymoon next month. Please come check us out if you can!
Will be there. Can guarantee bringing one person right now. Strong possibility of 2 more. Potentially a few more than that.
Don't suck.

You'll have to introduce yourself as Fool, ha!
Still, much better than introducing yourself as Sir Douche Baggins.
I am going to do everything I can to make it out to this fucker... I wanna see Mola stop a hole in that shithouse...
I can't promise anything, but if I'm caught up on school and work I want to make the trip from Toledo. If I do, I'll bring a couple people with.
Thanks Zek.
As for the rest of yous. Tell your friends. Tell ALL your friends there's a new band in town.

How much of your own stuff will you be doing and how much of this stuff will be cover? What did you guys play the first time?
We're only going to be playing 1 cover, a remake of Jimi Hendrix's most famous recording of Voodoo Chile: "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)". Other than that, it's all originals. We played about 7 songs at our first show. We played 8 at our second and we'll be playing 10 next Friday at The Magic Bag show.Quote:

If you came to see us, you'd find that we play some pretty heavy shit as my Electric Cello player uses various pedals including distortion and wah-wah, which enables us to do a song like Voodoo Child. When I get back from my wedding, we'll probably be covering "Come Together" by The Beatles and maybe even something else.
For now it's 1 cover and 9 originals. I guarantee a fun time.
The band playing the middle slot is The Pathe Jassi World Music Experience. Guitarist Sean Blackman will be joining Pathe Jassi.

Congrats on finding your own Electra!
Mola... Ill be out there for sure...
We're playing at Fifth Ave in Royal Oak tonight. Sorry for the short notice. I've had a lot of things going on in my life, some positive, some negative. I'll give y'all more notice in the future.
Damn, I'm already going to be at St. Andrews for a Bayside show. I actually had a night off for once, too.
If I still lived in Royal Oak I would definitely show up. Good luck.Quote:

When does the CD drop?
It's all good. We're playing at Fifth Ave again on the 22nd and also at Black Lotus on Nov 1st.Quote:
