That is exactly what I dont get. Everyone loves the salad and breadsticks!!! People, here is a tip. When you make breadsticks at home, brush them with garlic butter before you bake them and then brush them after you bake them too. Then sprinkle on some parmesean cheese. Salad??? Come on. Get some iceberg lettuce, red cabbage, carrots and shred them together. Get Roma tomatoes, red onions, black olives and toss together with your favorite italian dressing. The one we go to on Hall Road is great.
I prefer Carrabas when it comes to Italian. Besides, the Olive Garden near me is always busy, it's a waste of time to go there and wait.
Service is usually a little slow but beyond that I have no complaints. The nearest Olive Garden for me is in Salem and I've only eaten there a few times. Also, there are few Italian restaurants in our area.
Pennas in by Lakeside has good Italian food and really not too expensive.
Plus the owner went to school with Carr and played football together.
Plus Frank is a close friend of mine.
Red Lobster is the worst.
