You buying that he's out for the playoffs?
Something tells me that he's playing by game 3 or 4 in round 1.

Something tells me he'll play IF needed in the first round ...
IF he's not needed until the 2nd or 3rd game of round 2 then good for the Celtics. I wish we had the luxury of resting a quality player for the playoffs.
Bulls might do this.
We'll see. They have a chance if KG stays out, but I still think Boston gets it done.
One of the best games I've seen all year.
Rose and Rondo were awesome.
Great game for a Pierce hater like me, too.
lol
I was expecting a shot at Stuckey from you GD.
I haven't seen highlights but the recap and the boxscore seem to point to Rose being The Man.
Rose is fucking incredible, he might be a top 5 PG already.
I loved seeing Pierce get stripped while he was calling a play and then to have him miss the game winning free throw just topped it off for me.
It really was a great game, and it just made me dread watching the Cavs/Pistons even more.
I wish I would have picked the Bulls in the bracket thingy.
I really like their coaching staff and their young core.
Too bad for them that Gordon is probably going to take off this summer.
Is the game worth me downloading? If it's that good I might watch it.
Tons of ties and lead changes. Fantastic PG play on both sides. Pierce chokes.
If that sounds like your kind of fun, then I highly recommend it.
Rose is the real deal.
I hate the Bulls a lil less. Go Bulls
Looks like knee surgery for KG, even D-WADE can't pull that off.
I bet KG didn't need a wheelchair even for a knee injury.

It was reported in yesterday's Herald that the All-Star forward is planning to have surgery soon on his injured right knee, and sources continue to indicate he's heading in that direction. But a day after reiterating Garnett won't be coming to the Celtics' rescue in these playoffs, coach Doc Rivers said privately after his post-practice press conference that he and the team would like Garnett to hold off on the surgery. Then, at 3:14 yesterday afternoon, the story took another twist when Garnett appeared on the team's practice floor wearing full workout gear.
ANYTHING'S POSSIBLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(I mean "impossible is nothing". Shit. Do I still get the check?)
This made me lol for some reason.Quote:

It should be 3:16.
John 3:16.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son...
I know I'm getting ahead of myself here, but how awesome would a Bulls sweep be?
THEY LET 'EM OFF THE HOOK
How about Austin 3:16?
Bulls in 6
Powe blew out his ACL, he's DONE.
The Celtic excuse machine is in overdrive.
On a serious note though, these first two games have been fantastic, if you haven't seen them, you've done yourself a disservice.
GO BULLS
I hope the Bulls do win the series.
Maybe they can give these playoffs a jolt of excitement because other than them the whole deal is as boring as batshit to me.
So the Celtics are down to 3 bigs.
I wonder if they've placed a call to PJ Brown yet?
Could he still be added to the playoff roster?
Where's Soup these days?
It probably doesn't matter much defensively against Chicago. Their big men:Quote:

If the Celtics bigs get in foul trouble it will come back to bite them, but otherwise they'll probably be OK against Chicago at least defensively. The biggest thing they miss is KG's offense.
I like this guy.Quote:
According to the Chicago Tribune, after Allen's shot Tyrus Thomas attempted a desperation 60-footer because coach Vinny Del Negro had burned the Bulls' final timeout with 20.1 seconds left and the Bulls trailing 115-113.
"People are going to second-guess and first-guess," Del Negro said. "So what? I don't care. I'm the coach. I will make the decisions. That's the way it is."
Yeah, imagine having a decisive coach...
I don't know that you can knock him (didn't see the game but I'm looking at the play by play).
He called the timeout trailing with 20 seconds left. it worked and they tied the game. then Boston called a time out to set up a game winning play. Chicago put in their defensive players and had to play for overtime. Boston hit the game winner. What else could Del Negro do? Not use the time out at 20 seconds? What happens if the don't tie the game? Then you have an unused time out and you lose. I'd rather use all means at my disposal to win. it's not his fault his team couldn't stop the game winner. You have to have faith they will.
Who wrote that shit? Marriotti?
Mariotti was banished in Chicago, he writes for AOL or some shit like that now.
Salmons wtih the block of a Pierce 3 ball to win it for my Bulls.
KG is bitchass punk. fuck him
Brad Miller is an idiot for missing those free throws.
I think from this playoff series, Ben Gordon will be getting alot of serious offers despite the shitty economy
Fun series, but I don't think the Bulls can win two straight, including a game 7 in Boston.
Rondo should have been suspended. Probably not really, but I hate the Celts.
And I love how the media actually tries to defend the Rondo slap. It's amazing. If he pulls Miller down, that's old school playoff basketball and even I would have been all right with him just getting the foul. But he nails the dude in the mouth. Come on! Thank god we have Bill Simmons to devote another 100000 words to justify something bullshit about Celtics.
And since I'm on my usual "I fucking hate Boston sports" rants, those last few Simmons articles are exactly why I hate Boston sports fans. Even if they're best player is suffering an injury and they're sure to not get to the finals they find a way to make themselves the center of the sports universe and justify their bullshit. Of course the Cetlics-Bulls series is one of the best playoff series ever! And sure it was a punk bitch sucker punch from behind and not an actual hard playoff foul but that's just how it should be!!
I never thought I'd ever be openly pulling this hard for the Bulls.

Of course, he missed a free throw that would have won them a game too, and I'm still enjoying the thought of that.
Da Bulz
I'm just worried that no series can live up to the type of basketball we've seen from these teams. That would stink if the playoffs peaked in April. Then again, I'm a glass is half empty type of guy.
