Pistons/Raps deal
First I was all like this (Raps looking to bundle Bargs & Calderon for a SF)...
http://www.hoopsworld.com/nba-trade-...n-the-block-2/
Then I was like this...
Wait, we have a SF that needs to go. And a young replacement for Calderon and an expiring big (Max) to replace Bargs for TDot.
Then I was all like this...

You decreased their wins by 6, you fgt
-
That's success for now, friend.
I wish we had -6 wins this year.
-
I like the deal. Why do they do it?
-
Bargs is chirping and prolly wants out. They want a SF (Tay). They, like us, need to make moves via trades cuz free agents don't want to sign. They get a young combo guard in Stuckey. Expiring deal with Max.
Basically, what I said earlier.
-
Snarky for all the lazy abbreviations and assumed connections you made.
-
Eliminate Prince and Maxiell for Bargnani, and add our 2nd round pick this year, and I'm good. I'd hate to lose Prince for nothing. This team needs him.
-
Maggette, Stuckey and Maxiell for Bargnani and Calderon?
Bargs would be our "stretch" 4 after we amnesty Nova... and we'd get the Bird Rights on Calderon:
Drummond/Monroe
Monroe/Bargnani
Prince/Jerebko
Singler/English
Knight/Calderon
we'd draft the best SG/SF and roll with that group, banking on the growth of our youth
I don't like the fact our veterans (Prince, Bargs and Calderon) have been losers for so long but you can't always get what you want
-
Toronto's need to parlay Bargs & Calderon into a quality SF is not quenched by a washed up Corey Maggette.
-
Unless you/they think Stuckey can be that SF.
