This is pretty much how I felt. Sometimes I think it's ok to lose a bit in business if you know it's a step back to take a few more steps forward. Pistons shouldn't offer him a max contract and he believes that he might get one or come really close somewhere else. I can believe they probably weren't going to get good trade value for him either.

Agreed. I wouldn't mind trading him. Signing him to a max would be a mistake.

Drummond didn't play v Brazil...team USA. Some Piston's fans talk about this like its a bad thing. #idiots

Spect to see Drummond flying back to Detroit in the next day or so. He got a lot of good work in with USA team, but really not necesary for him to be there.
