Can't see that fat turd's team winning more than a game or two with that shit offense against a great defense.
We're about to find out how good Dwight Howard really is.
Should at least be interesting, since Boston had no interior at all.
I voted Cavs in 5, thinking cavs rust gives the magic a shot at stealing game one.
I agree with you on this one (Cavs in 5). Those darn threes will fall in at least one game at home.
Call it "Amway Magic".
Or it could be a sweep.
Going to the foul line, stopping the game, destroys three point rhythm.
Well, the jumpers fell last night (55% from the floor).
That Varejao flop was utterly amazing.
The acting skills, the drama.
Actually, fuck that guy, I don't want him here now.
I missed the flop. Hopefully I get to see it soon.
Or not.
He grasped his throat and was convulsing on the floor.
Replay showed that he didn't get hit anywhere near his throat.
Collins and Marv were completely silent when the replay was shown.
I will never ever EVER cheer for the Orlando Magic but when I checked Yahoo today I came very, very close to doing so.
Here's hoping they can bring it in the next game. If Lebron is injured they could steal both games in Cleveland! WOW! Can't believe I typed that.
BTW, how pissed would Lebron be after scoring 49 points and then they fucking lost? I would be killing fuckers in that locker room. The Cavs scored 106! Fuck me - Lebron nearly got half of 'em!
Fuck that. I am rooting for the Magic.Quote:

I remember when they had a hard working team that almost made the playoffs and they fucking shipped all those dudes out to chase the star players (McGrady and Hill signed - they flirted with Duncan)
That showed that the Orlando Magic had no loyalty, no honour and no code.
You reward those players that worked their asses off. If I was an owner I would rather be known as the guy who owned the hardest working team in the NBA than be known as the owner of the injury prone wanna be Jordan and Pippen, small town thinking, no loyalty having, bullshit Tragic.
I don't like the Magic, but I'm not ashamed to say I'm rooting for them to beat fucking Cleveland.
Fuck Cleveland more than Fuck Orlando = me rooting for the Magic this series.
I want the Magic to win because they would get obliterated by the Lakers or Nuggets in the Finals.
Whereas the Cavs may be able to beat the Lakers or Nuggets, and I don't want that city to win a championsip.
If mo made that shot, that would be shot of his lifetime, shot of the century.
Interesting to see Lebron pass up the potential game winner though.
I'm rooting for Orlando. I hate the Cavs. I don't like Orlando, but I agree they won't beat LA or Denver. They are taking advantage of the fact that the Cavs big men are big and slow and can't stay with Lewis or Turk. That wouldn't happen against the west teams. Odom and Walton have the size and speed to guard those two. So do Melo and Kmart.
I'm not sure Orlando can do this 4 times, but I know they can't against the west teams because they won't get those mismatches.
If, by some miracle, the Magic were to win the whole thing, would they be the worst NBA Championship team ever?
Worse than the Heat?
Way worse than the heat. At least the heat had Shaq and Wade. Orlando has one good big man and a bunch of jump shooters around him.
This is what happens when we aren't good. Pussies become NBA champions. The teal era was a blight on the league, not just Detroit.
The win by Orlando just shows what the NBA has become.
Detroit is a team from a bygone era, constructed under the old "system".
The NBA is completely different now. It's time to get with the times IMO.
Its really hard to NOT pull for the Omag. But its about the Paca thing.
No loyalty, no honour = No Pharaoh support.
I don't support the Cavs either.
Fuck both those teams.
BTW, how tall is the Cavs backcourt? I don't see their size being mentioned as a possible match-up problem for them. I thought both West and Williams were under 6'3"?
hedo is clutch--
nevermind..crazy fucking shot
Anyone see that the other day Lebron was saying that Pavlovic should play cause if he's "mentally in tune" with what's going on it would really help West and Lebron on both ends of the floor?
Guess who got significant playing time in Game 2?
LMAO @ the Coach of the Year.
Which reminds me: Less than a week after Brown was named COTY there was a recap of a Cavs game on Yahoo where Brown actually said "I just give him the ball. That's my coaching" or something like that.
It boggles my mind that this bum gets such praise for the Cavs success.
Nice Coaching so far v Orlando dickhead.
Wow.
24.
I can't believe Orland and Denver are going to be in the Finals.
Man Cleveland and LA are lucky not to be down 2-0
Maybe we aren't so far away from being a contender again...
Stop fooling yourself Pharaoh - your drunk and Scotch is fucking with you.
Mo Williams flopped
Orlando really grew some balls after the Game 5 meltdown against the Celtics. People were ripping on Stan Van Gundy again, others were criticizing Dwight Howard, people (including me) saying they were finished, Game 7 on the road.
If they win here, that's the moment i'm going to point to
And Orlando won!
So, if you take away that "OMG, he's better than Jordan" fucking bullshit 3 pointer the Cavs are down 0-3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Didn't someone say they were unstoppable? Looks like Orlando know what they're doing. I hope Joe and Curry are taking notes.
can someone explain to me why the Magic are actually a good defensiv team this season? i know they got Dwight in the middle, but Shard, Hedo, Alston all suck on D?!
the Cavs really struggle with the matchup problems, they don't got a player like Perkins,Sheed who can keep Dwight in front of him at Center and the other Cavs frontcourt players won't always come out to Lewis at the 3 point line...
From what I can see, they are just really good at defensive rotations. Sometimes they let Big Z get his long open jumper but have done a decent job of closing everyone else out.
Also keep in mind they are not always doubling Lebron, at least not until he gets into the paint. that means less wide open shots outside. Even a mediocre defender guarding a man is better than NO defense.
I'm not sure, but I think that's what the Spurs did, single Lebron until he gets to around the FT line then pick him up on double. I barely watched that boring ass series so i'm not sure.
Metro is basically correct, especially with the way the Spurs defended Lebron.
The problem many teams get into v the Cavs or Lakers (or any team with a gunslinger) is that they focus too much on that superstar.
Remember when we used to smash everyone? It's cause we played everyone straight up, even poor Ben on Shaq. So what if Lebron gets 40? If no one else gets on a roll and scores 20 then you win the fucking game.
We started that shit v the Bulls. Jordan can get 50 but everyone else will get next to nothing. Times haven't changed that much IMO. You just can't hit people no more.
That's why the Spurs were smart against Lebron, why the Lakers were smart against Duncan (in the post they only doubled when he made his move towards the hoop) and why the best teams are always one of the best defensive teams.
Nuggets are doing that with Kobe too. They let Jones or Billups play him straight up mostly. Kobe made some ridiculous shots late in that game, but nobody else was in the flow of the game late. They even have AC on him when he's in there. kobe scores, but nobody else had any offensive rhythm (Gasol is getting his off rebounds mostly).
While I am surprised that the Cavs have reverted to their old "stand around and watch LeBron" ways, I'm still thinking Cavs in 7.
If they win tonight, they'll have HCA back.

Cavs’ Wallace angered over Van Gundy ‘flop’ remark
41 minutes ago
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP)—Cleveland Cavaliers center Ben Wallace is upset with Orlando coach Stan Van Gundy for accusing him of flopping.
Van Gundy said Monday he was bothered by the number of times Cleveland guard Mo Williams and Wallace dropped to the floor in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals. He said the pair fell down more times than a baby.
Wallace is one of the NBA’s most intimidating players. When asked about Van Gundy’s comments during Tuesday’s shootaround before Game 4, Wallace said Van Gundy should shut up, adding an expletive for emphasis.
Van Gundy made the same claims about Shaquille O’Neal this season, and the coach later apologized.
What if Gilbert had moved Wally's expiring contract for another impact player?
I think they definitely could have helped their chances but chose not to take on the $.
Oh SNAP!
