This is awesome. We're playing volleyball out there. 2 and 3 rebounds per posession.
The Hawks are shooting really, really well. And we're still winning.
Pistons lead after 1 quarter.
We have 7 offensive rebounds.
The Hawks have 6 rebounds total.
Our rebounding onslaught is beginning to take effect on Atlanta....
I think its our low-post scoring onslaught.
Stuck is playing great as a 2. They're having to adjust to him and it's opening up the floor.
Some really bad calls letting Atlanta back in this game. Kuester doesnt get technicals very often.
First the travel and the offensive foul on stuck was also bullshit. Josh Smith was about to get burned again and flopped.
If thats an offensive foul, LeBron would foul out of every game by halftime.
WOW- that was an impressive half of basketball.
55-47 Pistons after a buzzer beating 3 by Crawford.
Charlie V with one of the most spectacular end-to-end plays I've ever seen. An Amazing block followed by a crazy 3-pointer.
Stuckey has 17 points and 6 assists on 7 of 12 shooting playing exclusively at the 2.
I said this to my family over Thanksgiving, but I almost enjoy watching this team, who even though they're not as talented, play hard and compete every night more than watching the championship level Pistons teams who only intermittently gave a crap. The "If it ain't rough, it ain't right" attitude drove me crazy.
29-11 rebounding advantage on the glass. That's ridiculous.
We have 14 offensive rebounds. Atlanta has 11 total.
Stuckey has turned Joe Johnson inside out. 17 and 6.
I'm gonna be ballsy. The pistons are going to lose this game.
I can't see Stuckey staying this good in the second half, although he definitely looks way better at the 2.
Also can't see the bigs staying this energetic and active either.
Not really. Nobody here enjoys watching the Pistons lose more than you. That's not being ballsy, it's wishful thinking on your part.
Now sit by and be silent while the rest of us enjoy this fantastic effort.
Great point...and true.Quote:

Oh boy- That's a broken nose for Charlie V.
What else can go wrong this season?
CV just broke his nose.
damn. injuries are a bitch this year.
On a positive note, his nose might just be really scratched.
nice job on the FTs.
Pistons back up 8!
Stuck and Bynum have been great together.
We still have more ofrfensive rebounds than they do total rebounds. Zounds!
Big Ben Badass at our service...
Ben hasnt had a game this good in a long time.
12 point lead!
48-21 rebounding advantage
This one has a little bit of something for everyone.
i dunno when both of your eyes start swelling up instantly like CVs were doing the free throws it means that shit is broken.
on another bright note, bynum looks like he loosened up that ankle and the pistons are going to win this game right now.
And starting Atkins is a hilarious/cock move by Q. It's like a big middle finger to the fans, just to see if they are paying attention.
one more basket probably ends this.
no remember bynum is awesome off the bench, therefore you play him less.Quote:

You believed in this team and they have delivered a 6th win to the Motor City!!
My thoughts exactly. They deserved a win today.Quote:

great game, as long as the effort is like this the most nights i am fine, you can't win every game with so many injured guys, but today it was a whole team effort, Pistons basketball, that was missing last season...good to know its back...btw we need to clone Big Ben somehow, its freaking unbelievable how he plays
You are correct. Charlie's nose is broken, surgery tomorrow, and the mask is on order per CV's twitter account.Quote:
