Hi
Hi
Return to reality week.
I can see us beating Utah, not the other 3.
If we had Rip, things might have been different.
BTW his foot better be falling the fuck off for him to be missing a month for a sprained ankle.
The Lakers lost last night, so, of course, there are a bunch of stories today about how beat up Kobe is.
Who is going to guard him, Stuckey? Jerebko?
gotta be stuckey.
It sounds funny, but the Laker game might be the best shot of the 4 games to get a win.
the way Utah is playing, I see that game as the best shot.
Utah is playing terrible but even when they are playing terrible and we are at the top of our game they beat us.
Kobe left last night, in a close game, before the game ended and didn't return I believe.
aggravated groin injury. Might force him to sit out a game rather than risk a tear.
It will certainly help that there will be two off days before that game (Utah), even if one of them is a travel day.
I hate these kinds of "trends" especially with as much turnover that this team has had, but we certainly don't seem to play very well vs. Utah.
They have a good/deep front line, and most likely Deron will be back by then.
I think their record might be a bit deceiving. 4 of their 6 losses came at Denver, at Dallas, at Boston and at Cleveland.
I hope d-will doesn;t play against us..doubtful though...he had some family reasons or something.
but if im not mistaken..we haven't beat utah in the regular season since 2004-05...
I say we beat the Jazz though..they are really struggling...
you should add all the above glan :)
If you think we'll win them all, just vote for them all.
I didn't know...but we are last in the division at the moment..
I think they'll all be relatively close at the very least. That counts for something, right?
Hold on one second. It's everyone's assumption that the best chance the Pistons have of winning a game on this trip is against UTAH??? Seriously? Have you guys forgotten that easily?
I say they win one, but that's a guaranteed loss.

Not worried about who the Coach is, what pick we get in 2010, what playoff seed we get, who we play next week...
Just hoping that the effort I saw v Dallas is evident during most of the games these guys play.
I thought many wanted a team that worked their asses off, win or lose?
Despite finding the sudden and strategic Curry scapegoating by the organizational mouthpiece extremely amusing, I'm actually with you, P. White text alert on my last post.
As we start playing better and build up more pieces to the puzzle, I want to see us destroy these teams. I want Kobe to start visualizing and smelling Shaq's undies at the prospect of playing us. We should benchmark the Canadian healthcare system by sending Steve Nash's defenseless remains back to them. Utah's epic 100-point loss to us should prompt Jerry Sloan's retirement. Hell, I want Paul Allen to remame the Rose Garden to the Pistons Cathedral in our honor. All these fucking teams should start looking like the Washington Generals to our finely honed engine of destruction.
But for now, I'll settle for hard work, good development, and competitive games. :)
Just read some comments from a fanboy lamenting that we won't have Deron Washington of Afflalo tonight to guard Kobe, lol.
If ABC/ESPN/TNT would decide to show a damn game I would let you know.
it could get ugly pretty quick, i think one win would be OK, anymore is a plus
Stuckey played some outstanding D on Kobe.
Jonas needs to be smarter than that if he wants to start. He just took a much-needed basket away from us.
is it wrong of me to hope kwame fouls out as quickly as possible?
we cant be playing 3 on 5 on offense and beat LA. Someone has to fucking score at the 3 or 5 spots.
Eventually, every team starts to send all 5 defenders at 3 guys, and we're forced to watch Kwame or Jerebko fumble the fucking ball away wide open.
we're not going to win this game until a non-guard besides V starts putting the ball in the basket.
You'd have to be blind not to see how much Kwame hurts us out there, on both ends.
scared on offense, lazy getting back on defense.
Kobe got his own miss twice under the basket while Kwame was still getting back.
same shit every time down the floor.
LA completely ignores Jerebko on defense and traps whichever piston is handling the ball. Whatever guard winds up taking the shot has 2 defenders in his face at all times.
This shit has to change. Its going to be harder and harder for this team to consistently out-work teams if theyre going to struggle to put points on the board like this.
Get Rodney Chuckey the fuck out of there.
He;s the only guy on the team thats been able to guard kobe, but yeah lets overlook that.
You are watching the game, right? Nobody is guarding Kobe, he's got 21 already, lol.
