Mine, without a doubt, is H.S. Trask. I own four pair. Again, a fine reflection on myself.

You seem like a mostly slip-on kind of guy.

So am I not on bukdow's level if I don't have a clue as to what H.S. Trasks are?
(I know I wouldn't be on bukky's level even if I did know what they were...)
I rock Nikes.

I don't have "my" brand that I prefer.
Here's how it goes down:
First, I decide that I need a new pair of shoes, "Damn, I need a new pair of shoes". Then, I might browse the sale ads in the paper on Sunday to see who is having a good sale. Next, I proceed to said store and check out their selection. Do they have the style and color that I am looking for? Do they have something else that I like better? Are the prices tolerable? (Not necessarily "cheap", but "justifyable" is nice.) If the answer to those questions is "no", I then proceed to a different store that sells shoes, until the desired outcome is accomplished.
Typical Dad guy stuff, really.
You do need to buy quality shoes, though, cheaply made shoes are a waste because they won't last.
I'm similar. When they get ratty I check at Kohl's and DSW (best shoe prices I've found) until I find a pair that I like and are comfortable. Specific brands are not important to me (though I admit I buy name brand in general). They usually end up being New Balence (fits me the best), but I've also had Nike and Adidas shoes recently. Can't remember having another brand of tennis shoe in a long time (reebok's never fit).
buk, do you think you could Twitter us the next time you get some new H.S. Trasks?

Wow, Big Feet means...
Big Shoes.
I love the Johnston & Murphy brand. When I see a pair at the Goodwill, I nab them quickly.
Size 11 is big?
My friends all wear size 12+
