Come on Pistons, win one in front of me. I was glad to see the blowout yesterday, saving the starters from some tired legs tonight. I hope to see Sheed posting up Gaymart all night and Billups abusing AI/Ellis in the paint also. The key to this game is stopping their guards from penetrating. Billups and RIP need to post early and get them in foul trouble IMO.

darko was inevitable. no way out of that pick since i didnt want melo on our team.

But instead of delfino we shoulda drafted josh howard.

I have no doubt in my mind that LB would have had Melo in line. If not, just dump him for picks. Since Melo has serious game, I'm sure we would have gotten more for him than Darko.

Redoing that draft, I'd take Bosh and one of the following:
Barbosa - Solid backup slasher PG
Howard - wishes he was Tayshaun, I believe his thing was "Disrespected" but I can't remember
Kapono - Excellent shooter, pure scoring off the bench
Mo Williams - Solid backup PG that could eventually be Billups successor

I'd like to see Rasheed play like he did yesterday, but he probably won't.

I can't imagine Darko was THAT impressive compared to guys like Chris Bosh or even the buffer state Mike Sweetney...

LeBron didn't work out for anyone, I don't think. The Cavs knew they were drafting him the instant they got the #1 pick.

Looks like this is going to be a great game.

Pistons playing pretty well so far. GREAT fast break after the steal by Billups. Nothing flashy, but they did exactly what they needed to do.

I just noticed Camby doesn't even jump when he shoots.

I love watching Carmelo play.

Very true, but I think we'd have let JR go for nothing to sign DD if we'd made that trade. Someone had to go to clear that roster spot.

As much as I enjoy the pace of this one, they need to stop taking quick shots and bailing Denver's "defense" out.
