Steve Nash is Chauncey's personal bitch. And for whatever reason, we always seem to play well in Phoenix.

Anybody remember last years game in Phoenix???
Flip Murray- 12/16, 25 pts, 4 reb, 2 ast, 6 stl, 1 blk
a.k.a. Steve Nash's worst professional game

Q:What went wrong in Detroit?
Primoz Brezec: "What went wrong? I’d rather not say. Everyone knows the problem in Detroit, you know. Great players, great organization. I don’t have one bad word, one bad thing to say. Joe Dumars is the man. The first to the 15th guys make you feel like family. But no playing time, man. No playing time. I was just looking for a chance, and I didn’t get it. In a month-and-a-half, two months, all I got was garbage time. That’s not me man. I’ve been a starter in this league, I know I can play, so I’m not going to sit on the bench. I guarantee you that. I am not going to sit on the bench."

lol...so he wanted to start in exchange for his undying pledge to be here forever? no thanks, good fucking bye!
he didnt say he wanted to start, he just said he wanted to play.
brezec does not suck. he can play in this league. years he started he put up decent #'s (on a bad team). i dont blame him at all for not wanting to be the last guy on the team.
this is his career after all. sounds like joe did the right thing, get someone who will take that roll and let PB go someplace where he might beable to improve his next contract.
well, once bargnani comes back (if he's still hurt?), brezec won't see the floor at all, and quite frankly, I don't think he will see the much floor anyway...
I agree. Can't fault the guy for wanting to play relevant minutes, and he read the situation accurately here in Detroit. Too many better players in front of him. It's not like he went off saying he should have played in front of them.Quote:

right, and he seemed to be the good soldier while he was here.
good luck to primos, especially because his interests do not conflict with our interests.

we're talking about $$$ here. brezec needs to be on the court to get that next payday. were talking about the difference in hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars in difference here.Quote:

Nobody is going to confuse Primoz for a decent player. He's terrible.
I get your point, but that's an interesting question there. How much would you be willing to pay to see Detroit win a title? I think I'd have no problem ponying up a thousand. Probably even 2 or 3.Quote:

wow- it sounds like there's a lot of piston fans there. am i the only one hearing that?
Somebody cool off Jarvis...
Jarvis is our flip murray today. Nobody's guarding him, so he gets red-hot against shitty defense.
God, I swear, Phoenx will never win a title playing this way. Steve Kerr needs to realize that and get D'Antoni out of town...
We are pwnsaucing it.
PS Amir rocks.
love Amir's toughness today. fuck Shaq for the cheap shot on Amir.
with that Shaq trade the Suns took themself out of contention for a title...the starters played some great ball, Jarvis hit his J, Amir and Max bringing energy off the bench, very nice first half
gotta love Amare screaming and hanging on the rim after dunks when his team is down. scoreboard, young fella, scoreboard.
yea. that flagrant by shaq really showed me something. amir thought he was gonna posterize shaq (who's got a shaky ego right now)- who lays him out. i didnt have a problem with that, i like good hard fouls, and flagrant 1 was the right call. but amir stepped up and made a ft afterwards, and later forced a jump ball on shaq. tells me something about hte kid's toughness. most impressive.
how badass is the nba? from now until the end of the season is going to be the best stretch for the nba since jordan: mark my words. it seems like every week, atleast 1 or 2 games are just unbelievably intense and must sees. that hasnt really been true in forever.
i love this game.
i disagree. shaq needs to lose weight. phnx needs to slow it down when hes in there. they'd probably rather not meet us in the playoffs. but i dont think they decreased there odds at a ring, i think they increased them.Quote:

i liked amare in the first half. if we played him more, i think amare would have a fun feud with rasheed.Quote:

one of the analysts made a great point about nash creating 3's for hill that he wont take. when he puts it back down its bogging down the offense. quinton richardson was a perfect fit. they really need brent barry.
if alondo tucker spent the last year working on his range he'd be the starter right now.
this is more than just a little embarrassing for the suns, i'd think.
Holy shit this is fun!
Fuck Gramp Hill.
Rasheed has taken only two 3s and has done most of his damage inside. w00t.
With just 1 game, Detroit has destroyed an entire NBA franchise.
Color me impressed ^_^
owning a team with Shaq on it will never, ever, ever, get dull.
unleash the Zoo Crew, Flip.
That bump on Chauncy's head is absurd. Golf ball.
Pistons win BIG seemed to be the right option :D
If only every team in the league had an Amare Stoudemire type to put up against Sheed.
i don't know how we're only up by 34. we really need to get it together out there.
Nash's back to back back-court violations were priceless.
i'm always surprised by the Piston fans when we're on the road......but then again, it might be evidence of Detroit folks leaving the state :(
otherwise, hearing the Phoenix boo birds is so worth it. where's the bench?!? i've got a feeling they might extend the lead even further.
it looks like the suns could use about a week's worth of streight practicing. this team is about as out of synch as it gets. they can either hope shaq gets alot faster or they can sslow down the offense. cuz its not working now.
-dyess just fouled shaq and it didnt look like shaq wanted to get back up.
-alvin gentry just told amare there isnt a guy in the world that can block sheeds shot.
