Money saving move for NO. The way Chandler has been playing this year I don't think it is a huge downgrade. But clearly this deal was more for getting rid of his contract. Not a bad move for OKC considering they likely couldn't lure anyone there in free agency. Who would really want to live in oklahoma city.

Maybe :we: can get Chandler from OKC?

They have that whole "most recession proof city" thing going for them, but yeah, I agree.

It would have to be player for player. I think Sheed for him straight up works though.

I'm not sure why OKC would flip Chandler to us for an expiring. If they wanted capspace why did they just trade it away to take on a 3 year $30 mil plus contract like Chandler.
