So I'm kind of addicted to buying DVD's. I have no life anymore so I watch a lot of movies. There was an ad on Yahoo the other day for Hollywood Video offering their "clearance sale" on used DVD's. It was 3.99 each or 3 for 10, 5 for 15, 8 for 20. I scanned through the list adding anything of interest to my "cart" with the intention of paring it down to 8 at the end when I decided what I really wanted. At around 2 am (midnight west coast where hollywood's headquarters is located) I noticed that it was no longer letting me add stuff to my cart and that of the 21 movies in my cart, 4 of them had changed their price to 4.99 from 3.99 and the rest were now priced at $0.00. So I just checked out to see what would happen. It took my credit card payment and I got an email saying "thank you for your order" listing all 21 movies for 22 something after tax.

Any guesses on whether they actually ship them all??

I hope you get your DVDs, Vin. But there's a bigger issue at hand here:

What were you doing typing a post about buying DVDs at 4 in the morning? There's only two threads you should be in at 4 in the morning: The Drunk Thread with gusman, or Boycott the Olympic Games.

Starting to look like we might need a "get rich quick/scams/finding the loophole" thread.

Maybe "Ledezma presents... 'How to get over on the man' "?

Lol, Lost Season 4 got its hooks into me.

19th century music, particularly Impressionist pieces from the likes of Debussy, is terrible.

Watching the Heisman show. Noticed two things:

1. Tim Tebow says "special" a lot.

2. ESPN is a shameless whore of self-promotion, having Fowler promote their own future broadcasts live, on stage, DURING the telecast!!!!!

hoping I'm not the only one still working this week. Other's should suffer too.

I'm working tomorrow and Wed. Then I got 5 days off, work 3 days, and have 4 more off.

My random thought is that I'm happy to have the time off because my knee is buggin me so much it's uncomfortable to sit at a desk for 8 hours. My kneecap is stickin out almost an inch from the swelling under it, and the swelling is starting to move out around my knee too. Went to the doc and got some anti-inflammatory pills (they've done nothing). I'm trying to wait until the 1st of the year before getting the MRI and everything since I haven't touched my insurance deductable this year and I don't want to spend it 10 days before it resets.
