WWE actually expects the crowd at WrestleMania to be split between Cena and Rock...

Fans above the age of 14 WANT Cena to turn heel on The Rock - to do something Austin would do....

IMO all this has done is show casual fans how weak Cena is compared to Austin and Rock.... This BS "fans can choose" crap doesn't wash with me. I WANT to hate Cena... I already do! Just let me enjoy it!

IF WWE turned Cena heel fans over the age of 15 would fucking LOVE it! They probably end up cheering the guy if it was done well... in which case you turn Cena face about 12-18 months later!

The question is: Can WWE deal with Cena being heel for 12-18 months? The answer so far is obviously no

And in all honesty WWE don't need to do shit to please the fans - you watch cause there is no other company to watch...

even though TNA has been putting on solid TV for months now they still suck at promoting their show/business... until that changes and people take notice of TNA Vince can produce shite shows and get away with it

but if you actually are interested now might be a good time to tune into TNA.

Robert Roode as the chicken shit/dick heel... his former tag team partner James "Not Stone Cold but drink beer too" Storm is the #1 contender and they'll rip it up at Lockdown... a PPV where every match is inside a steel cage.

Vince Russo was demoted months ago - replaced by Brother Love Bruce Pritchard (I belive I mentioned that)... now Russo is completely out of the company!

Pritchard has done a pretty good job of going old school with TNA... logical booking and less stupid shit = quality product.

Yet no one but their hardcore 1.1 million fans watch every week!

Spike TV should be promoting the company... but I guess they'll be stuck with those 1.1 million viewers until they can somehow catch lightning in a bottle (Hogan, Austin, Rock, Brock, Goldberg type star)

The mere fact he is ADORED by hardcore internet fans yet the boo him out of the arena shows the love Jericho gets from the hardcore fans...

He's had great matches, great promos... IF WCW treated him differently when they brought him in he could have been anything in the business.

Bischoff actually said to him that WCW viewed him as their Shawn Michaels...

then WCW stuck him on the undercard with no gimmick - just a "meat and potatoes, white meat" babyface (= plain as can be good guy)

He could have come in as part of the NWO... with Hall and Nash... made it a group of 4 to start off with... but he wasn't connected and had no allies in WCW...

which is part of why his WCW stuff is so awesome. They told him how long he was allowed to talk... gave him the few points they wanted to get across... and let him roll. Nobody had a clue what he was doing... and he built a massive battle with Dean Malenko without Malenko actually on TV!

and of course the whole Goldberg thing... though Goldberg bitched and whined and got it canned because "he doesn't do comedy"

Jericho v Goldberg would have made WCW millions - but they never had a match!
