Falling Skies - seasons 1 and 2
Falling Skies - seasons 1 and 2
Edit: @ Zbeau:
Let me know if you ever get to Beyond Sunset. Those are both Cameron Crowe right?
Linklater
Watched it the other night, liked it even more than Sunrise.
Cool, I think I have Sunset on DVD somewhere, never got around to it....
Both are great. Sunrise lost me for a few minutes, but Sunset kept me interested throughout.
What to watch tonight, you guys? I'm going to go a different route. Maybe something dumb/funny. Ha!
I wish Karl's roadhouse was real.
Vin, you use any movie recommendation sites? I use Tomatoes, IMDB, Jinni, Criticker, etc.
Might watch The Conversation. So solid.
Don't use one, just usually try to chase directors. Cronenberg and Carpenter are usually pretty amusing. How about Big Trouble In Little China?? Or They Live?
Or History of Violence.
So are you generally dealing w/ Netflix Streaming?
Don't have Netflix account at the moment, so I've been doing this through other means, if you catch my drift.
can't stand Leno at all. Why am I spending a Friday night watching this chump, you guys? Need friends, you guys.
If you're slurping from online, get the Region 2 DVD rip with the John Carpenter/Roddy Piper commentary -- good stuff! For some reason they haven't released that in the U.S. yet. Fortunately, I have a region-free player that does the right thing with PAL and NTSC crap.
Think I'm in a Princess Bride mood today, actually. Been so long.
CURRENTLY WATCHING: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060277/
Finishing up "Some Kind of Wonderful" before bed. Kinda embarrassed, you guys.
WHERE'S THE FUCKING MONEY, KEITH!?!?!?!:langlois:
Vin man, any ideas? ha!
Watching Eternal Sunshine. Just can't get into it at all. is there something wrong with me? is it something I have to watch at least a couple times in order to form an opinion? Help me out here.
watched Memento last night... Christopher Nolan before he was famous!
Great concept, well executed :)
been meaning to check that out. it amazes me, the shit I've yet to see.
How the fuck have YOU not seen it? You watch all kinds of crap :)
Buy it! Download it! Watch it!
Eastern Promises or Robocop or Running Man.
Gotta admit, this was one of my favorite childhood flicks. It's been years and I'm almost afraid to get into it.
Let's roll, you guys.
^ Didn't roll, you guys. Did roll with Leon: The Professional. So damn good.
Game of Thrones Season 1 - bought it sight unseen and after episode 1 I think I'm hooked!
Last watched Wall Street. 1987, not the garbage sequel or whatever with Shia Lagoof or whatever the fuck his name is.
Hate that kid.
Keanu 2.0
Was thinking about Pusher (96). Going with State of Grace instead.
Shia LaBoof must have blown Speilberg to get all those gigs - dude was fucking useless in every flick he was in except maybe Disturbia
I think Keanu is a better option - and we all know how great his acting is/was
Yeah Glan, Keanu has several classic roles. Stop being a dick.
First blood is awesome.
Hardy Jenns is such an epic asshole.
'I'd recommend you keep your eyes and your mind off my property. " Ha!
Kinda embarrassed that it's taken me 5 years to watch No Country for Old Men, but that's just how I am. Better late than never, I guess.
Yeah, at first I thought it was "just good," but I sat there thinking about it a little more and my opinion changed to "tremendous."
"There Will Be Blood" is going to be next.
