Jack on the rocks. Fortified by a steady flow of tap labatt blue.
No workie?
I have an... unusual work schedule. I work less than full time hours and do it from home. It involves some morning, some afternoon and some evening work seven days a week.
As a result, I'm never fully "at work" nor am I ever really off until late evening. Right now, I'm at my neighborhood bar having just finished my afternoon work making a valiant attempt at getting obliterated.
Posting from the neighborhood bar?
Nice.
If you haven't looked into mobile broadband, I highly recommend it. It just... works. Everywhere. At speeds that are quite decent.
The only potential downside is if you need to share your internet connection with other people in the household, in which case it's not very practical to take the internet with you in your pocket when you leave the house.
I think I saw it advertised for like $40 the other day. That's what you pay for the stuff in your home I believe. It seems like it would be a good option for me since I'm hardly ever at home but always with my laptop.
I have it through sprint. It's $40/month for some silly low limit that you'd reach just your WTF browsing. I've had their $60/month unlimited for a little over a year and have been pretty happy with it. A little more expensive than the cable modem I got rid of but the convenience of internet anywhere more than outweighed it.
I think I'll stick to yoinking my neighbor's unprotected wireless signal for now.
Speaking of neighbors wireless... I live in an apartment complex with probably a dozen routers in shouting distance from me. What is with the names that some people give their wireless networks? One of my neighbors, I only wish I knew which... named theirs "cuntpuncher".
Cuntpuncher. Really. Who does that?
The Ying Yang Twins do.
Safe for the bar.
Ying Yang twins. FTW. Awesome sauce flows through your veins.
I wonder if Tony Delk is a fan?
