Tay, taking another one for the team.
Hold up, look what just dropped in our lap.
Straight up, lol.
Golden State Warriors notebook: Center Andris Biedrins aggravates back injury
So Tay gets hurt and Joe should be fired, but he could save himself be trading Tay for another back injury?
It was an attempt at humor.
I was beating the drum for some sort of RIP/Tay/pick for Kamen/Camby/Thornton combination, so i didn't have a problem moving him for better big man value.
Also, the fuck ups started when we passed on Melo because of Tay (lets not talk about shunning Bosh). Tay has always been a player that should have been used like Battier (as a glue guy playing multiple positions off the bench).
They proceded when a parade of shit SF's backed Tay up and he got worn down. Add in a SG playing starting SG and you've got the
:SHIT STORM!:
we just had the last few pages.
BTW, P and I are about the only ones that have been ripping Joe's drafting for years (and getting chastised for doing so).
Chris, how dare you bring up drafting.
Finding cheap talent on a yearly basis is not needed here. We simply don't have the time nor the inclination to play these pimple-faced kids.
Get with the program and stop sounding like my Mother-in-Law.

I got a question for you. If Prince is out the whole year is there any kind of compinsation by the NBA, like there was for Yao Ming?
Steve Kyler:
A team that loses a player can apply for an Disabled Player exception... this gets them 50% of the players salary or the average player salary (roughly $5 million) - this is something the team applies for, is reviewed by independent doctors.
From an Insurance point of view, the NBA's insurance carrier picks up 80% of a players salary after he misses 41 consecutive games.... so not only could Detroit get an exception to add or acquire another player... they also can be relieved from some of the real costs too.
