Last two games his covers were tyrone lue, hurt michael redd, and a crew of shitty SG's for orlando. grain of salt in that connection.Quote:

Also, Glenn burned this MOFO down. Nice. But don't think I didn't notice your attempt to draw me in with the "Hmmm ... Stuckey shot 19 times..."
Lastly, it's great to see defense being played again and Iverson talking about liking winning this way.
i agree that a more traditional lineup is better matchup wise, but not that our improved defense had much to do with false notion that Iverson has magically learned how to play defense after more than a decade of not doing so.
The song at the end of these intros:Quote:

You have a fucked up memory of his career Kstat. Nothing new for you to alter history. But he's never been known as a defender, just a gambler and probably on of the best players in the league at jumping passing lanes. Don't be so sensitive about it though. Iverson is a hall of fame player and that fact isnt lost on anyone who isn't and has never been impressed with his man defense throughout his very exceptionally great career. Zones are a good way to protect him and get more positive results out of his gambling habits. i'm sure we'll mix in more zones as the season goes. Nevertheless the overall team chemistry on defense is getting better, and guys are communicating.Quote:

Certain teams with certain matchups are going to go at Iverson on some nights. Luckily the contenders in the east are fairly light at SG except Atlanta which has scorers at moth PG and SG. So yea i think we can get away with Iverson at SG most nights, but when we get to the playoffs there will be an attempt to exploit him i'm guessing.Quote:

Every time I see this thread title, I think of that Old Spice commercial where that guy that is supposed to be Urlacher challenges another guy to a du-el.
Who's laughing now?
Me.
SOMEONE ANSWER MY FUCKING QUESTION!!!
No reason for me to argue with someone who has absolutely no clue what he's arguing. I said Iverson was making an effort to play good defense. That's it.
I never said Iverson was a great defender, but carry on talking to yourself. It's all you're good at.
