Harper`s is definitely for the intellectual elite. Smithsonian is kind of like NPR and PBS wrapped up into a magazine.
Beautiful touch.Quote:

Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Spiderman, Godfather, etc... None of them are even close to the masterpiece that is The Mighty Ducks, D2, and D3.
Might I add that the fact Adam Banks was never drafted is a freaking Travishamockery. The best attitude of anyone on the team, the most goals scored, won the Junior Olympics after a triumphant return, and played Varsity as a Freshman in the country's best Hockey High School. He must have been hiding an injury that occured in the Varsity/JV game that ruined his career.
I know it's been out a while (I saw it in the dollar theatre's Saturday), but the Great Debaters was a solid movie. Worth a rental if you haven't seen it.
dollar theatre...we need one of them around here. My rentals are 5 bucks.
There is one in Metro Detroit BTW. It's over in Frasier. I like them. It's cheaper than renting it. Actually we rent all our movies at King Supers (Kroger owned). New releases are like $1.50 or something like that. You may get that at Kroger.
