Yeah, I think people are looking at who they would want to have on a team for the next X years. This season, these playoffs, I think it is beyone silly not to pick Timmy. But LeBron and Kobe are fun, and maybe by "best" people are saying "best to watch" or "best to sell tickets".

Were Duncan not injured and playing a little hobbled right now, he'd easily be a top 3 candidate with Kobe and KG. James is who I'd want to have for a long period of time, but he's not the best yet. He'll get there, but not right now.

He can't make free throws, especially clutch free throws.
