With the score tied 72-all, James was fouled by Hamilton with 1:02 remaining, and as Cleveland's forward lined up for his free throws, Chauncey Billups came up alongside and said something.
"Hey!" Cavs coach Mike Brown shouted to the officials. "He can't talk to him like that!"
I hate conspiricy theroys more than any one, but its almost sadly obvious that last night, there was some star treatment going on. And the stars team got every close call.
LIke Glenn said, they still have to beat us here, which they wont, but it just makes me mad that we have to stretch this series out much longer than we should have to.
i'm sorry. but 3 important shitfaced things happened.
1.)We didnt execute and stick to the gameplan. Dyess shoulda got more set plays with sheed hobbling. and all this passing out the post crap when theres no double team was a turnover waiting to happen.
2.)We didnt play great defense regardless of the score. the soft zone is overused and useless now because of lack of variety.. And it seems Flip and his nutfaced group of asistants were too busy drawing up offensive plays to come up with something else. honestly i miss the days of letting guys go one on one and keeping the role players at bay. bron can score 50 if his team is shut down as far as i'm concerned. making tayshaun plasy funneling defense instead of being right in front of him doesnt help shyt out IMO.
3.)Flips getting outcoached by mike brown!! i'm sure there will be an excuse for this including sheeds ankle. but so what. we are going 7 games in every series after this(if we even hold home serve), which sucks. for a moment i just wish he had a more defensive brain. i also wish he'd lived up to his bs lie that he would use delfino in matchups against the lebron james/dwayne wade type players. instead of putting him on gadzuric and varejo in garbage time. his substitutions have been iffy to say the least. and we went from the best out of timeout plays to worst out of timeout plays since last year. :( blah, just fuck it!
I'm going to get shit on for saying this, but Flip cant come close to LB when it comes to coaching in close games. Sometimes I think is more nervous than the players
Maybe, but he's extremely affable.Quote:

basically. results speak louder than a good attitude. and if i dont see a title this year, Flip aint shit. even if we go to the 7th game of the finals and lose. because we have a better team than we did last year. so thats an utter failure also.Quote:

LB was much much better at not allowing shit like the last 9 quarters to continue.
On the other hand it was the LB stuff like I mentioned that was wearing thin on players.
You almost wish that Flip was allowed to coach the regular season and then Brown would be allowed to come in for the 10 week playoff stretch and tell Flip to go park his nice guy ass at the end of the bench and watch and learn.
I couldnt agree with your post more Gecko and Gutz
