I wonder how everyone feels now about our scouts and Joe on Draft Day?
Yeah, all these cats could turn into legends or complete bums but I think Joe's history on Draft Day took another hit.
I do understand why he took all these guys - even Daye. Joe sees that the league has changed completely. No longer can you have a PF that can't hit a 20 foot jumper. You need guys that can play multiple positions, can hit the long bomb, are long and/or tall.
I just wonder if these picks kind of tip Joe's hand in free agency/trades?
We've got our perimeter covered. Maybe we all our money on bigs and Ben Gordon gets nothing more than a coke and a smile?

If James Johnson plays reasonable next season I'll be slightly more than frustrated. Actually, I'll be a long fucking way from frustrated. And when I say "long way" I mean Cairns to LA kind of distance.
While I understand why we chose who we chose I don't know why Daye was our pick and Johnson wasn't?
Blair? I didn't want him anyway - he's a career role player like Maxiell.
But IF Johnson plays any kind of decent ball next season and Daye is too busy trying to gain weight in order to even play I'll fucking go nuclear.
Why draft a dude that's 2 or 3 years away?
Is his ceiling higher than Johnson's?
Are his skills "better" than Johnson's?
Is Daye more mentally tough?
Is Daye more driven?
Jonas seems intriguing. We'll see how well his game translates to the NBA.
I'm surprised we didn't draft some kind of project C, or perhaps Goran Suton, with that last 2nd rounder.

Sam Young is a guy that could have started from day 1 if we dealt tayshaun. He's already 24, but would have served as a great placeholder for Daye.
Budinger is a natural 2, so he really didn't fit here unless we were planning to deal Rip and not sign Gordon.
That jumper would have been really nice, though. He would have been a fun player to watch here.
