Parts and Labor. the old set up.
Pfft. I only listen to the most exquisitely unknown jazz musicians and the most invisibly underground indie bands. You guys are a bunch of philistines.
Metalingus - Alter Bridge

Limewax. He has better stuff, but I'm too lazy to look so here's a taste for you:
If I played that with peeps over, I think they'd be asking if they were being Punk'd.
Now that may say more about them then the music, but just sayin...
Yeah lol. I DJ'd for the female's b-day party last year. Knowing her circle of friends I kept it calm, people were dancin, all was good. After about 4 hours I got bored and dropped some of that shit on... the basement was EMPTY 2 minutes through the first record lol. I played another hour of it cuz I didn't care.
There was this bar in Old Sac that come closing time, would put on the ugliest of music (much, MUCH worse than ^) and the place cleared out.
I second this, and add that the stuff I listen to is even too cool to be recorded, let alone prostituted out into CD's that are sold to the public. Fuck that.Quote:

I DJ'd at a retirement home shuffleboard tournament, and caused 4 deaths by playing some rockin' Lawrence Welk.
Hey, what can I say? It was a paying gig, and I'd already taken my kids down to the plasma center and forced them to donate blood three times that week. And yeah, I nailed a couple old bitchezz in the broom closet. So what?
It was my own basement because we had people over. I've played out enough, been a resident, etc.Quote:

Free alcohol :)
Tori Amos - Crucify
They Might Be Giants "Here Come the ABCs"
My kids listen to it almost non-stop.
I let, nay, FORCE my kids to listen to that Norwegian Death Metal band that cut off the head of their lead singer and ate his brains. I think it does a kid good to know just how bad it can get for them if the fuck up.
I've never really cared much for Van Halen, but I've been seeking out a bit of the Dave-led stuff lately and it sounds pretty good these days.
"Ain't talking 'bout love", right now.
Ain't talking 'bout love's probably the best song on those albums.
Van Halen Rock - if you don't like the vocal just wait for a bit cause Eddie will come in to save the fucking song.
Just ordered this on vinyl: (not the whole track)
Some old Ned's Atomic Dustbin
I'm guessing that nobody here remembers (or even knew about) them, maybe Vinny, but they were really solid.
2 bass players, and they used the bass like a lead instrument.
I remember them. Had some dubbed tapes back in the day lol.
Me too. Ha. Tapes. I miss some of that shit I used to have on tapes. JFA, Gangreen, random crap like that!Quote:

I honestly watch this about once a week. It makes me feel like I'm 200 ft. tall and farting fire.
Metallica - Cyanide
Something I learned: Zip listens to Norwegian black metal, and not just because of all the church burnings associated with it.
Townes Van Zandt - Our Mother the Mountain
You're basically a fag if you don't like this.
I fuckin hate that shit. j/k
LMAO
WE'LL KNOW FOR THE FIRST TIME...IF WE'RE EVIL OR DEVINE...WE'RE THE LAST IN LIIIIIIIINE

Dio took it to the next level, man.
I can't tell you how much I enjoy XM radio. When am I going to pull out a Dio disc or some Grim Reaper shit? I'm not, who wants to listen to a whole album of that stuff? But when you can scan the dial and cherry pick stuff like that, stuff that takes you back to another time, that shit is priceless.
Not to mention Elvis Radio, XM 18.
My shit scares you guys... so I'll just let you know that I'm listenin to it.
What do you listen to UxKa?
