I realized I haven't replaced the AA battery in my alarm clock in a very long time. I checked and the expiration date on the battery was in 2012. Given that batteries' expiration dates are about 8-10 years after their manufacture, this battery has been running the alarm clock for around a decade now.

Unfortunately, this item is not for sale. Furthermore, I do not wish to remove the battery, as I fear it will disturb whatever dark magic has kept it powering the clock.
