LOL...Where did I say that? Wife of many years and the boy are doing just fine.

Want to watch some 'gers and post about it tonight? Like the good ol' days.
I'll be here.
Ah, yeah, Ok.
Netflix and SlingTV both just went down at about the exact same time, either Comcast is testing out some some sort of bandwidth-restricter or some weird hack is going on.
You use downdetector?
I ued one of those, they both are down for everybody, Reddit claims Netflix is due to DNS issues so they probably have the same provider.
For anyone that has a Amazon Fire Tv box, Look up online how to load Kodi. Easy step by step directions. This shit is amazing. Not sure how its possible to have so many movies and tv shows on this thing and its free.
https://seo-michael.co.uk/how-to-man...gotv-for-xbmc/
Follows these directions.
I bought a Roku TV or something, but one of the first things it asked for was a credit card. I didn't enter. But I have to check out how all you youngsters are watching TV with your new fangled gadgets.
Guys this thing is amazing. I can't believe how much stuff is on here. Worth the investment
What investment? Time to set up?
Fire tv stick is $40. I posted the directions above. Maybe 15 mins
Really worried about Vinny
I did on some things but for the most part all went ok and considering its free. Try downloading "Phoenix" also. That had some good stuff too.
Your instructions make it appear it's some sort of yify-based situation. Yify just had their two main websites shut down (for being illegal) about two weeks ago. That said, they had been up for a couple of years before that so you might have a long time to enjoy it.
To me its a bonus since I've had this firetv box for 5 months and I just found out about it the other day. So far so good but I'm sure it will get shut down eventually.
Install sportsdevil to Kodi for live sports streams....:
http://www.iwillfolo.com/install-sportsdevil-xbmc/2/
The day I first installed it there were a bunch of Yify streams in the list to choose to stream from but there are none now. It basically has about 25 different choices of where to stream from of 'Yify-like' services. Some are reliable some are not but overall you can find pretty much whatever you want to watch.
Reading some articles about an Oakland County child porn scumbag...
http://www.detroitnews.com/story/new...porn/75976194/
Here's the part that bugs me:
To be clear, there's absolutely no question that he's a scumbag based off his confession. He's said enough quite independently of the above to get put away for a long, long time.Quote:
Virgil Napier Jr. is alleged to have accessed multiple posts at a website known to display child porn, including one with a link to an image that depicted thumbnails of a video
But, this sounds like the kind of crap one would find in a web browser's cache and not enough evidence by itself of anything. There's lots of sites I've gone to that have thumbnails of who-knows-what. I'd expect that for people without effective ad blockers, it's even worse. Are there people whacking off to thumbnail images? This seems like weak sauce compared to what he confessed to, but it crops up in every article on the subject.
Oh oh. I didn't know that spaghetti-os were made of red plastic. It explains so much!

I had to come out of lurking just to thank you guys for Sportsdevil. I have been trying to figure out a good sports streaming solution for weeks.
Any time de. You owe me.
What do you guys set your thermostat at in the winter
I keep it at 71 as well though had it up to 73 one day last week. Always seems to happen that a couple times a year require higher temps inside than normal. I think high winds or some other factor besides normal temperature effects how well heat is trapped in your house.
70-72
I set it at 68 this year but we will see how long it lasts.
69 when it's cold
71 when it's warm
Not sure how long this experiment is going to last. I'm freezing
Anyone else have SiriusXM radio?
My trial is expiring. I expect cheaper and cheaper prices as the deadline approaches.
But instead, I get $100 for a year as the first offer, then $120/year. WTF?
Not sure if either of those are good deals, or what to do to extract a good deal.
Just wait.
I let mine lapse a couple of years ago and I get $40/year in the mail about every other month.
Thanks... that's more along the lines of what I was expecting. I don't mind it lapsing and them trying even harder, but I was surprised when their deals weren't getting any better. That just seemed odd to me.
Perhaps I should start a thread called dumb headlines? I dunno... arguably, this is just dumb news:

Report: Michigan must produce more college graduates to compete economically
<groan> The issue is that Michigan must *retain* college graduates. Of course, this report was sponsored by the state board of education, so of course they're gonna frame it as "give more to education", even when it's just not that fucking simple. Digging into the report, it's actually alluded to, but its impact isn't quantified. What is quantified is amusing... there's a few charts where the numbers on the chart don't support their statement.
I noticed everyone that moves to Chicago ends up coming back within 5 years.
