I saw Cashback, the lengthened version of an Oscar-nominated short movie done in Britain. It's about an art student recovering from a romantic breakup who either is going insane with insominiac grief -- or he can stop time. He does what most young men do when they think of having such a power: take off women's clothes and use them as models for his work. He gets infatuated with someone who looks like a cross between Gwyneth Paltrow and Brittany Murphy, and the movie goes on from there. It's a solid thumbs-up as a longer movie, but the shorter movie (also on the DVD) is superior as a work. It's a quiet movie with fairly low-key non-bludgeoning comedy and drama, and that works better in a 20 minute span than a 90 minute span to me.
Oh, the lead actor's name is Sean Biggerstaff -- talk about porn names!
new hitman preview.

I'm not as high on this movie as you are, but for the most part I agree. Jared Leto's character sucked, though.Quote:

Death sentence looks really nice. PLEASE COME OUT IN KOREA
The Host (Gwoemul) was pretty cool. Ignore the title and whatever DVD cover you see -- think of it a modern-day Korean Godzilla movie with a smaller lizard and you'll do fine. It's amusing to see just how fucked up the Americans are portrayed.
I saw it and to me, the movie was not very good. A typical big ass creature that creates terror, nothing new. I'm surprised it didn't reproduce or have some kind of friend or someshit.Quote:
