One month into the season, who do you think will win it all?

Spurs.

They've exceeded my expectations for them to this point, but they're only 6.5 games from missing the playoffs altogether, so it's still early and there is much to be determined.

Yeah, they are only second in the West. They are on shaking ground.

Duncan's contract is up in 2012, they may start plans for rebuilding before the deadline in case he doesn't resign.

Point is that there isn't much difference in team #2 and team #9 in the west right now.

A prolonged slump or a major injury and who knows?

But you both know that, don't you?

And the Spurs are very, very serious contenders for the NBA title right now....

But you know that, don't you?

The Lakers are only 6.5 games up on the Spurs. Do you think the Lakers should be worried about losing their #1 spot?

Yes, I know they are contenders. I never stated that they aren't. I stated that they won't win another ring with this core, IMO.

I would LOVE to see the Spurs win it all this year. Why? Because I hate the Cavs, Lakers, and Celtics more.
