The Raptors really wouldn't be getting much back. Thomas is an underachiever, Gooden is an expiring, and one first rounder are really not that much.

This is exactly why waiting for 2010 is a bad plan for the Pistons.

I think TT is and will always be nothing more than simple bench fodder. He'll put up a cute stat line in a game every so often, but only to prove it was a total fluke the next night.
He'll always be viewed as one of those 'Darius Miles' type players, where GM's think that he'll always have 'tremendous upside' due to his skillset.
It will be interesting to see how many trades are made for actual on-court basketball reasons and how many are just accounting procedures.
