Well, the millennial hipsters I know weren't about to watch "some dumb kids movie" that was "just a two hour commercial for toys".
But I don't know the movie game, right?

We're watching The Muppets Most Wanted tonight. I'll let ya know how that goes.
Live tweet it.
If he appreciated cameo after cameo and well-produced musical numbers, he'd approve.
Yeah, it wasn't very good.
Certainly no LEGO MOVIE.
In the movie Bad Asses, I'm sure everyone wanted to see Danny Trejo play with fucking barbie dolls.
Surprised by how much I enjoyed Bad Words. Kelsey.
November Man was a better Pierce Brosnan Bond movie than half the Bond movies he was in.
Wife just dropped "Neighbors" on the counter from redbox. Am I okay or do I need to pretend to fall asleep after we sit down?
Never seen.
Okay, I'll have to query Twitter
Rose Byrne isn't bad looking, if that helps.
Thanks! I'll let you know how it is! Hopefully no nudity or cursing!
Gonna check this out on Saturday night, will report back.

Not a Wahlberg guy, but hope you enjoy it.
I'm not either, really not a Goodman guy, either.
Like gambling and movies that trick people into going by using Rolling Stones songs.
Not much of a Stones guy, either.
Any interest in seeing AMERICAN SNIPER?
Just got a special pass that grants me free access for two to pretty much any movie, so going to see quite a few this year, I think. That might be another.
And THE WEDDING RINGER
I got the pass in the mail at work from the local movie chain. Glad it has my name on it and can only be used by me, because the receptionist that handles all the mail would have probably swiped it. It was sent along with a guilt-trippy letter from the theater chain owner looking for a charitable donation to his pet cause.
Don't get tricked into watching "Boyhood" like I did!
Sure, the premise is unique and interesting (they filmed it over the course of like 12 years or something, and you get to see the cast grow up and get older) but there's basically no point to it, it just seemed like they were filming the lives of these people and it's largely uninteresting. I'm not sure why it's so highly acclaimed, I guess the critics just fell for the gimmick. My wife really pushed to have us watch it, and we pulled the plug about 3/4 of the way through it, in total agreement that it sucked.
Have you and your wife ever finished an entire movie together?
lol yes
We've watched pee wee's big adventure together about 8 times. We also watch The Ref every year at xmas.
I'm loving the movie Ca$h, streaming on Netflix.
Bean is awesome as a... "forensic accountant".
Yeah, that's it!
Watched Nightcrawler last night. Just bizarre enough to be worthy of a recommendation. It's worth your time.
About to put on The Book of Life. #dadguy
Are you guys aware of http://www.solarmovie.is/
(ad blocker required)
I think you meant turn ad-blocker off?
Do you have to create that account? Seems sketchy giving up credit card number, need to find a gift card somewhere...
No, keep the ad-blocker on. It's just a site to stream movies. Never give any of these sites an email address let alone a cc# (jesus Vinny, what kind of a death seeker are you?). I've used this site for years and never created an account (had to go to the site to even see if you could do something like that since I guess I just look past that link at this point). It just holds links to file storing sites where people have stored screening versions of films (among other movies) that are out in theaters. That's what I use it for mainly, movies I'm too lazy to get out to the theater to see. For example, Gla's Nightcrawler is uploaded to several sites (link to solar movies page listing the various streaming links) any of which will get you to a stream of the film (direct link to the first streaming site on that list "vodlocker")
I'm sure I've posted the link here before but it was probably years ago and who knows where. The length of time the site has been around without a url change is pretty impressive. Far longer than the various no-pay sites I use to stream television shows. Those things typically last only a year or two before they get shut down and you have to find where they've relocated to on the net.
12 Angry Men... oh, wait. This isn't the "Bukdow's Basement Movie Critic with also #1 Pistun superfan Anchiello thank you"?
