My wifes Birthday is next week. The boy is at college. He called yesterday and said he decided to come home for his mom's Bday this weekend and that he could miss a class on Friday. We decided to surprise her. He should be home within the hour.

This should be good.

Throwing a big ass cookout where you provide only the grillin' meat and peeps BYOB and leave almost all of it behind when they take off.

My fridge is now fucking stocked with beer I didn't pay for.

I spent $14 total on ground beef, two kinds of brats and hot dogs and got 33 beers out of it (6 different varieties, good shit).

I need to get better friends. 'Some' of my friends, not the wifes, go grab the beer they brought before they leave. Sometimes taking stuff they didn't even bring.

what has fixed that a lil bit is this one guy I've known forever sees this other guy about to leave so he goes and shakes up all the beer that guy brought. So when he gets home a pops one, it pops him.

Grilling is right at the top for me on Saturday afternoon.

I like those smorgy types...where you start the chicken, then add the burgers, then the brats.

Its sort of a sensitive thing, but I grill red bell pepper, Zuks, shitakes too. Usually just salt n pepper and maybe a lil balsamic vinegar while grilling. Just a lil bit. Garlic bread too.
