Y'all can come up with all the scenarios you want, I still don't want our fucked up Gov't to take over health care. Once again, libs look to the Gov't to fix everything. Stop that. Steal money from taxpayers to cover everyone. I dont' see that in the constitution. Health Care is not a right.
This is the kind of crap that happens when we get a guy who was a community organizer a couple of years ago, running the country.

The Gov't has taken my taxes for a long time now. The roads here suck, I've never needed a fireman or police officer, unemployment, grants for college, or really anything else I can think of. It's $200 a month for my kid's insurance through work, so why wouldn't I want the option of all these taxes I've paid for all these years that have not helped me on a first person basis to alleviate some of that bill?Quote:

Suppose I should point out too... I'm not sure if this plan is the answer, I haven't read enough of the 1000 pages to say for sure. I just get annoyed with people who are completely against any health care reform.
I'm not opposed to health care reform, just keep the Gov't OUT OF IT. I know they have their fingers in it already. I just don't want them get involved any more than they already are. Fuck socialized medicine.
I, personally, respect and like our Government, as an institution. If the American voting public would just do a better job of electing good people that want to truly serve and make a positive difference for its citizens, then this would be a much better place to spend our days.
I'm aware that it's idealistic/unrealistic, but just giving up isn't a better option, IMO.
I want our Government to protect and serve the citizens. They just need to do it better/smarter than it's been done before.
Maybe someday.
I am optimistic that starting with the current generation, that a dramatic shift is coming. And coming soon.
