Omaha is a city of about 400,000, and a metro area approaching about a million (in the Detroit-Ann Arbor sense). I'd say the average work commute, if you haven't been scared away by Blacks and Hispanics and moved into some plowed cornfield-turned-subdivision 50 miles away, is about 11 minutes. 14 on a bad day. It makes driving home drunk a bit easier and harder to get caught.
