My bias is towards releasing everything.
When it comes to the costs of war we put the treasure on the credit card to numb the economic pain. An all-volunteer army compartmentalizes the cost in blood away from most of the public. Sanitized images and reporting hide the horrors it inflicts on human beings.
How different would the political calculus of necessary war be if the costs were paid in the present, the sacrifices shared and the human damage visible?
I don't want the pics released now. He should have done it the night story broke. Obama's brains are out on the golf course, not doing what he should be doing.
