My guess is he’s dead by 2024. Poor health.
Too many differences to apply past precedent to Trump in this case.
As far as 2024. I don’t think Trump will run as long as there’s a good alternative. If the GOPe runs a Haley at us, we stay home.
As far as calling us Trump nation. Also not true. There’s about 70m people who want lower taxes, strong military and secure border. Trump echoed what we wanted. He did add ending needless wars which I completely support. But he failed miserably at times too.
If Trump is convicted, it really doesn’t matter. We aren’t going to start wanting higher taxes, ship our jobs overseas, let isis run rampant and open the border. We aren’t going away.
I for one am shocked Tahoe wasn't arrested at the capitol. Literally, checked in to see if anyone knew if he had or not. Not shocked to find out 12K racists, Russian bots and "patriot" insurrectionists followed his Twitter account. Would not be surprised to find out he's the type to incite people to break the law but is happy to "call in sick" the day of the event.
Hope everyone is well.
Trump Nation ain't the same as Trump voters. I'm talking about the cultists who actually believe everything he says, even when it's clearly bullshit, who gave him $200+ million after the election was over. Trump never failed in their eyes -- it was conspiracy. There's plenty of Trump voters who aren't part of "Trump Nation"... the evangelicals who see that he's ethically a shithead, but he got them their SCOTUS judges, for example.
I don't see anyone who looks like a good Republican candidate in 2024 other than Trump or someone he crowns. I can't see any of the 2016 primary folks making a serious run at it. It ain't gonna be Pence. Haley's running for VP. Given Biden's age, there's a lot of potential for a one-term president, Republicans might do good by going younger and telegenic, but I can't see, say, Hawley/Boebert winning.
So like the Obama cultists? All presidents have those. Nothing new with Trump.
You give trump way too much power imo.
That said, the two way way way too early candidates I hear talked about is Don jr unless shit head Schiff n co go after him and he’s in jail or Ron DeSantis.
Ok kids. I’m outa here...again. Thought I could come back without being called a racist but found out nothing much changed.
See how easy it is to run me off. lol
Also, I had over 100k followers. Lost about 15k when lefties decided to shut down free speech.
C ya.
One last post.
Mxy. You put Haley and Hawley together. From most all the people who voted for Trump, those couldn’t be farther apart.
I guarantee you over half the 70m that voted for Trump will stay home if a Haley, Cheney, Lyndsey Graham types are somehow the nominee. We are done with the GOP establishment types. Tired of being promised thing and they didn’t deliver.
Hawley, while relatively new is not seen as an establishment GOP. Right now anyway.
People say Bush gave us Obama and Obama gave us Trump. Not true. The lying GOP establishment gave us Trump. We picked him. Fuck the GOP establishment. Seriously. People are more pissed than ever at the Republicans. We could have a Democratic President for years to come because of this fracture inside the party.
Ok. That’s it. You might’ve known that but thought I’d mention.
It seems Mxy missed the fact that Tahoe is part of his "Trump Nation".

The white girl who stole Pelosi's laptop, tried to hide from the cops. and sell to Russia, isn't in jail.
Liberals are making this a black vs. white justice issue. If black, they'd be behind bars if not worse.
But, I think this is as much a gender thing. If this were a white male, I suspect she'd be in bars too.
It's inconvenient to say such things, though, as it goes against the grain of the feminist narrative.

March 9th: Whitmer signs a Republican-led bill incentivizing 50% physical attendance in schools with near-immediate effect, even as COVID-19 cases are rising
April 9th: Whitmer encourages but does not mandate (to Republican praise) a two-week pause on school activities, because COVID-19 cases are rising
Fun times...
I've been living in monroe county and man, let me tell you, they fucking LOVE hating that woman. It's a whole different world.
I think it's a hoot that she's been acting in a fucked-up bi-partisan way and they still hate her.
But, pushing to open up in-person schooling then promptly pushing to close won't win her points with anyone.
That's a flip and a major flop, regardless of political party.
I suspect if the pandemic had happened a little over a decade ago, Granholm would've gotten similar treatment.

So, the shooting in Oxford, because the cop that was there wasn't invoked by the guidance counselors.
So, let's put more cops in schools? <groan>
https://m.metrotimes.com/news-hits/a...xford-shooting
There may or may not be a problem with not enough cops in schools. If it's where a big concentration of your population is during the day, sure -- a police presence makes sense and that should be a no-brainer. The counterargument is that we didn't have police in schools during much of the 20th century and people generally managed to not die before graduating. How much of a police state should we make schools? Metal detectors (which will be less effective as 3D printing evolves)? Drug tests? Random cavity searches? Armed crossing guards? CCTV in bathrooms?
Of course, lack of police is not the reason that the Oxford shootings happened. This feels like a case of politicians wanting to say they're doing something without tackling the real issue there.
So, the shooting in Oxford, where it isn't clear if the kid had the gun in his backpack at the point he was with guidance counselors.
So, let's mandate clear backpacks at schools? <groan>
https://www.theoaklandpress.com/2021...udents-return/
There may or may not be a reason for clear backpacks. I'm sure that these days, there's guns/knives/weed/booze/burner cell phones all the cool kids are carrying around in their backpacks that they won't if they're clear. The counterargument is that if we take a shit on privacy when they're young, they'll take a double-shit on our privacy when they're older.
Of course, the lack of clear backpacks is not the reason that the Oxford shootings happened. This feels like a case of academentia wanting to say they're doing something without tackling the real issue there.
People are so fucking dumb.
The core issue is that they let a messed up kid back in the general school population.
They knew he was messed up. They're the ones who said to get therapy in 48 hours.
But the dumbass parents "resisted" when school tried to send him home with them
So, instead of the kid being in, say, the principal's office, he's left back to class?
I really hope everyone gets what's coming to them.
Let's see if Oxford can do more things that don't move the needle on the actual problem -- YES THEY CAN!:

I already covered the backpack thing. The kid might not have even had the gun in his backpack, for all they know. He might have hid it beforehand.Quote:
Every district building will have on-site law enforcement, so parents and guardians are encouraged to speak to their children about the presence of uniformed officers.
The district has hired a personal security firm that will have on-site personnel at every building across the district, while staff continues to review safety policies and procedures for any improvements or additions.
The district has implemented GoGuardian software that filters incoming web content to all district accounts, done to help ?protect the online safety of our students, families and staff.?
Gaggle software has been activated to help manage students? online safety on school-provided accounts, including all outgoing content from students and staff. The software immediately flags any concerning images, website links and shared items from Google Drive for review from the district?s technology safety and security team. It also allows the district to better work with law enforcement.
The district is not allowing backpacks in any buildings for the remainder of this week and all of next week. Throne said more correspondence regarding backpacks will take place prior to the return from holiday break.
I already covered the cops thing. The cops were clearly not the problem.
Do they need a security firm to tell them not let nutjobs back in the school until they get help? For that matter, is this a real fucking learning institution when these guys clearly can't find their ass with two hands and a flashlight?
Ooh, let's do online filtering. Kid searched for "ammo" on his phone to kick things off. Was he on the school wifi, or on cell data? If the kids know there's a netnanny on the wi-fi, they'll be smart and|or annoyed enough to turn it off.

I’m not so no sure that’s what he’s saying, Vin. He’s even being widely condemned by Republicans, so you know he really crossed a line if it has come to that.
Also, isn’t that almost a verbatim quote from an old Bobby Knight interview with Connie Chung? Seem to remember that being a huge deal at the time, but haven’t heard it brought up in the context of this new story at all.
I think it's pretty clear. And either way, regardless of context I don't think it's ok to say that....but there are many who DO think it would be ok and will point to stuff like this as "just another example of the media propaganda machine....".

WASHINGTON?After letting out a sigh of apparent exasperation, outgoing White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki took a pointed tone during Monday?s briefing when she asked a reporter chanting ?Kill, kill, kill? if he had an actual question for her. ?Is there an inquiry relevant to the Biden administration?s current policies, sir?? Psaki said as the foam-mouthed reporter?s eyes rolled back in his head and he screamed ?Blood! Blood now!? while scrambling over other members of the press corps in a frenzied rush toward the podium. ?I?m happy to answer any question you?d like about the Russia-Ukraine conflict or the release of oil reserves, but ?The impure among us will suffer unspeakable agony!? is not a hypothetical I?m going to entertain. Similarly, the White House has not issued an official position on whether the filthy stain of the unrighteous can only be cleansed in an ocean of blood. Let?s move on.? Sources confirmed Psaki also dodged inquiries from the reporter about whether she approved of him eating her bones.
