considered by who?
When I look at hasheem thabeet, I see dikembe mutombo with more athletic ability, and he'd probably only be the 3rd pick. Solid starter my ass.
after 5th or 6th, yeah its a crapshoot. but the to 5 is rock solid.
well Deke went 4th. And the #1 guy is being compared to Marion. No one is being compared to Robinson/Shaq/Duncan/Lebron, that's for sure.Quote:

Thabeet is a very good defender but I'm not convinced that offensively he has what it takes to be a superstar in the NBA.
Griffin in my opinion is a poor defender and could use some work on his post moves and his overall shooting range. I think he looks great in college because defenders are afraid of him.
Thabeet improves so much every year that it would not surprise me to see him develop some effective NBA pet moves, ala pat ewing when he left georgetown and found himself a mid-range jumper.
Bottom line is, you find a 7'3" guy with that skill set, you go out and get him.
Fair, Deke and Kemp are good pieces but not uberstuds.
they arent hall of famers, but neither are bosh and amare. I'll gladly spend a large chunk of cap space for the sake of getting any of those guys.
Agree that he is tall and a legit center but just because you're good in college doesn't mean that it will always translate to the pros. don't get me wrong i'm a thabeet fan but you seem overly confident that he is going to be the next hall of fame big man.Quote:
