Been hitting the heavy Stouts a lot lately.
This year's Bourbon County stout is pretty fucking good.
The bourbon county coffee was pretty eh (american "eh" like the non-hipster version of 'meh'.... not minnesota "eh hoser" Motown)....still good but didn't love it.
Drinking a Dragons Milk Reserve with Toasted Chilis right now...Good not great. Kind of thin.
Bells Expedition pretty fucking good as always.
Bells Java was 'fine'.
Bells Double Cream stout pretty good...took a few sips to grow on me but good.
Dark Horse Plead the Fifth pretty money as always. It has made me the drunk right now....more later....

Weird, my buddy I met out is apparently allergic to grapefruit (which seems weird that that's a real thing?) so he bought the Habanero and said it was pretty good....I'll check back in when I get one...I did have a Dragon's milk 'With Toasted Chiles' and enjoyed that immensely....but it does sound weird to have a 'spicy' IPA.Quote:
