This is the original Ardent Records 45 version of "September Gurls" from 1974. It was mastered by Larry Nix at a different date than the RADIO CITY version, using varispeed technology, making this cut a few seconds shorter, quite a bit punchier and in a higher key. Alex Chilton's vocals offer up even more adenoidal urgency on this master, which was dedicated specifically for the airplay "September Gurls" never received (beyond a few markets) upon its initial release...
Think it's a private acct, then.
Let me know if you want me to stalk him and post more photos.

How old is he? Guessing he's got to be at least in his mid 40s.
Looks like he's got two adult children, so yeah.
Bought tickets for Those Pretty Wrongs a month or so ago, whenever it was announced....was totally on the fence about going, leaning toward no but I just started listening to the album and it's actually pretty good. Not Big Star good by any means but I thought it would be terrible...it's not...
I tried getting into that once before, maybe I'll try again.
Unrelated note, Alex's son posted something a while back that said that Alex was a big 'Law & Order' fan. I can't decide if it's cool that I know that now or I wish I didn't. Kinda regret knowing that.
