Reading is fundamental. I didn't say a word about starting any debate, and I'm not interested, frankly.
Stuckey has been cleared by doctors, so his collapse is a non-issue, by the way.
In my mind, this is not about Stuckey, though I know most of you will try to make it about Stuckey so I will jump to his defense. To me, this is about Will's abysmal defense, street ball style, and lack of size. Sure, he's a great bench player, and I'm confident that's where you'll continue to see him.
And Battle On.
"but Bynum over Stuckey as starter? You can't be serious." is what you said, which sure sound like "fightin' words" or at least "debatin' words". :)
Personally, I don't think either of them should be full-time starters unless they can make the 3P shot.Quote:

Stuckey should be the full-time starter - at SG.
Bynum should be the 3rd guard on the team, first off the bench.
The starter at PG would be some dude that's approx 6'3" 200lbs, can shoot the 3 and run an offense.
Ideally that dude would be a bit of a veteran, helping Stuckey learn the ins and outs of being a NBA PG.
But that's just my opinion and comes from fantasy land where BG and Rip both aren't here making #10 mil per
I agree with Pharoah. However, I still think Rodney can pan out as a PG when a better offense and a scoring big man come along.
This ideal PG sounds a little bit like the guy we traded away two years ago.
Mxy, I see your point. I'm still surprised that some want Bynum over Rodney, but I'm willing to let it go because it's a non-issue.

Pistons guard Will Bynum makes statement as starter

ATLANTA -- The Pistons' Will Bynum has faced quite a gamut of point guards since he replaced Rodney Stuckey in the starting lineup.
Deron Williams, Aaron Brooks and Mike Bibby are top names in the NBA, and aside from Williams, arguably the best point guard in the league, Bynum has more than held his own as the Pistons have gone 2-2 in the games he has started.
He clearly got the best of Bibby in Saturday night's 112-99 loss at Atlanta. He scored 16 points and had seven assists; Bibby had seven points and five assists. The effort came one night after his 20-assist game in a blowout victory against the Wizards.
So while some may think it's best for the 23-43 Pistons to lose games to increase their chances of a good draft pick, the restricted free agent is auditioning for his next deal.
And he is proving that he deserves a commitment from some team.
"I'm learning as I go every day. I'm learning to pick and choose my spots," Bynum said after Saturday's loss to Atlanta. "When the game is blown open like it was tonight, I think I have to be more aggressive on the offensive end. I tried to be more aggressive getting the ball inside the paint in the second half."
