In the daze before the Interweb, I used to go to Canada (Dr. Disc in Windsor, mostly) to buy imports... tended to be a bit cheaper.

It's almost twice the price to buy most of the stuff I want in the States. Somehow the shipping is more expensive too, which I really don't understand. Either way, that's not even considering that about 2/3 of the records I've been ordering aren't available in the States.
