Until he realizes that the best lineup is a NORMAL starting lineup, with Stuckey at the 1 and either Rip or AI off the bench, i have very little care for Curry.
Did our "normal" starting lineup have a worse record? I think they may have.
Either way Amir, Maxiell, and Kwame all haven't done much in the way of putting them in as Starters. Not saying I agree with Smallball, because I honestly dfon't. But based on the performance of our bigs, I can't knock him for pushing them all to the side not counting McDyess. Also I still hope we can trade Maxiell, hopefully his up and down effort can go on a hot streak to up his value.

I thought I'd never see anyone as bad as Michael Curry was on a basketball court. He was truly terrible. Then, he got a coaching job. And he's worse at that. Awful player. But, he's managed to make the Pistons worse as their coach than he did as a bad player.
What's our record when Stuckey starts at PG and we're not playing smallball?Quote:

or Sheed/Kwame depending on matchups.. which is what Curry was doing at one point I believe. IMO he did not give that a chance to develop, because he was still starting AI at PG and Rip at SG. Which is just not a good combination. But I do agree, we have problems with our big-men and there isn't a clear cut solution.
But either way, this team is better with Stuck starting at PG and imo isn't going anywhere in the playoffs playing smallball.
1.) i'm not making any predictions until i see where we are at the end of the year.Quote:

3.) If there isn't a clear cut solution why are you so dead set on drawing up scenarios that probably fail just as bad if not worse? Do i see us playing small ball for the long haul? No, mainly because its a move based on our big men rotation's suckage. With that in mind i there will be some tweaking of the roster at some point.
3.) Smallball or not, we arent going anywhere is iverson is going to be a bullseye every night by the other team's lined up against him. There is alot to correct by season's end. But that was the reality since the moment it was realized that iverson can't be the scoring PG The pistons hoped for. Stop trying to draw up quick fix answers, there are none and we will probably go through more changes before playoffs hit. Its a bumpy ride that only gets bumpier.
