Russert is asking some good-ass questions.
hilary's response to the tax filings was pricelss. cant we get her a goddamn accountant for christ's sake?
No kidding... Russert is asking tough questions on both sides, but they do seem like reaches...
I like how much more honest Obama is (or at least seems) compared to Hillary. He admits when he has made a mistake rather than sidestepping.
In closing, at first glance, I don't think anyone got anywhere or won anything here tonight. Pretty lame crowd too.
well, hilary is in desperation mode and probably lost points, so i think obama won big tonight.
imo, both have gotten alot better at debbating, but the difference is becoming especially apparent in barrak.
his responses are confident, thoughtful, and decisive. earlier, they were thoughtful (for sure) but he seemed to stumble and deliver them in a manner that lacked certainty.
chris mathews just said barrak lacks the "stirring" factor in debates that he has in speaches. probably true, but hes getting better.
the msnbc guys also made a good point about barak being unflappable / cool. dead right, especially the kenya garb. he said he would take hil at her word and wanted to move on. THAT is how you handle an issue like that. he is so levelheaded, so many times i'd have said "fuck you" to her, and he is in unite party mode.
right on on the last point, diddy.
Tim Russert was the star of this debate.
i liked when he was asking the hypothetical about iraq telling us to leave.
i missed the start of the question, so i only heard the part where he was, essentially acting out the iraqis passionately telling the US to get out.
i thought russert had lost it and was screaming at obama to get us out of iraq.
lol... i guess you had to be there and be easly amused.
This isn't the NBA. Most regular joes want an even, steady hand at the helm. Obama showed that tonight. Hillary did not.Quote:
