From what I read she didn't admit anything until she was on the brink of criminal charges, hoping to deflect them. Before that she denied everything and even sued the guy that claimed to have shot her up.

The ones that go the Giambi route and come clean without lying under oath or filing defamation suits against their accusors don't end up facing jail time. Nobody gets prosecuted for cheating at sports or taking steroids... it's obstructing investigations that gets them in trouble.

And I thought Mac said he didn't use steroids. And the 1st baseman from Texas said he didn't use and now we find out he did. Most ALL of them are lying about it but MJ goes to prison for 6 months? She lost everything, gave her medals back on her own, has 2 boys and the judge sends her to prison.

I bet there are about a million other that should be in prison before her. Here in CA Arnold is about to let out a million prisoners(<--Can't remembe the exact number) cuz we have a budget crisis. But MJ needs to go to jail? She has learned her lesson.

Regardless of what he said to the media, etc... when it came time to testify under oath, Mac took the fifth. Mac = smart.

I really don't see racism here. Judges, prosecutors and law enforcement in general will never cut you a break after you've lied to them, especially under oath. Just ask Bill Clinton, Scooter Libby or Marth Stewart.

edit-- All that being said, I do think the judge was being a hardass and should've given her probation. Six months in jail is severe overkill.

BTW... this might be OT but the difference for me between Roger and Barry is that Barry has always been a FUCK YOU kind of guy, but All American Roger seemed to portray himself as some Apple pie guy.
