The Grudge 2 - 0/10 GF wanted to see it, even she thought it was that bad. I want money for the time I wasted watching it. Im sure you all knew it would be that bad, but I wanted to verify it for you.
Jackass 2 - 6/10 Saw it for $1 and it was worth it. It focused more on being funny than just gross like the first one was, no car up the butt, pee-cones, or anything like that.
I'm not going to read thru 18 pages, so sorry if it has been posted. RV was better than expected. we rented it thinking it would be cheasy and it was actually funny. Worth a rental anyway.
plus Kiera Nightly is pleasant on the eyes. I liked the first one and I'm looking forward to the second one (have to get my wife to see the first one to catch up on the plot).Quote:

My Date With Drew has good previews, but sucks rocks as documentary movies go. Some geek tries to get a date with Drew Barrymore. You want to like him -- you really do, but then he goes all stupid on you. Eventually, he puts up a WWW page saying "I want a date with Drew Barrymore" and a billboard and he gets one because the media hypes it up. Drew is nice enough but doesn't take off her clothes, which is what that movie would've needed at that point to keep me from falling asleep.

I saw Flags of our Fathers.
I love war movies and while it was not all action...the acting was pretty damn good and Clint did a wonderful job with directing it.
It made me appreciate what my grandfather did in WWII a lot more.
I would give it a 9/10 and say it will win a couple of oscars.
BTW Ryan Phillippe is very good in this movie and so is the Indian who plays Ira Hayes.
If you are in to action shows like 24 you'll like The Sentenel. A good movie IMO, and well worth a rental. Plus it has Eva Longoria in it (though she is wearing a suit the whole time).
Do you remember if "Boots" had a major role at all in it? He's played by a kid I went to college with and I was curious if it was a good enough part that it could be a "break" for him.Quote:
