Just another victim...of the New Jersey Nets.
No Ginobili, no Parker, no winning.
Not having those guys on a regular basis is all part of being DONE.
They've actually been playing better without Parker than they were with him.
Barkley used a nice chunk of time last night basically calling the Spurs frauds.
Said thet they are loading up on wins vs. the terrible bottom half of the league, and when the games start to matter (playoffs) that they won't be able to beat Lakers, Mavs, Thunder, et al.
It's only Barkley, but hey.
and of course, it's timed for when :littletony: is out for a couple weeks nursing that bruised knee he got from HumPilates
Spurs are 6-1 against those 3 teams (only loss to Mavs) so far.
It's about time for things to start falling apart here, per the script.
I had to click on this to see how many pages...61. Remarkable.
Hey G-Dan, did you see how my Blazers beat 'em? That was sweet.
They're all sweet.
How would you rate Splitter vs. Monroe?
Also, It's Happening.
Also, unless they end up drawing the David West-less Hornets, I actually think there's a good chance that the Spurs could get taken out by the #8.
Donecan, Manu, Little Tony and Dice all injured.
LOLZ.
I did lol when I saw how Ginobili got hurt the other night.
Nice 9 pt 3rd quarter for YOUR Blazers, TBro!
Sounds like our offense was hot in that quarter.
In fairness, I think Ginobli's the only one really hurt...
There are reports that the Hornets and Grizzlies are both tanking to get to the Spurs (and to avoid the Lakers).
With the Spurs luck, they'll get the broken Hornets.
Bynum hurt again. Lol, fag.
"No I in team, but..." lol
Mangoo hurt again.
LOL @ Jerkovich. Lauded as a genius and showered with praise for always knowing the right time to rest his guys ... whoops!
?
He's a good coach, but I hate the guy.
I would not kill to have a coach that I hate with the Pistons.
Always been a Pop fan.
Thanks Vin.
Is this on?

It's too bad you don't have someone to disagree with you in this thread, like you do in the Rondo thread (P).
Oh, where oh where have my detractors gone?
Perhaps I have run them all off.
I'm firmly of the opinion that the Spurs ain't over until they're over.
Being down 2-1 in a series doesn't make them "done".
Glan's been calling them done for 3 years now.
And hasn't been proved wrong yet.
By that standard, the Pistons have been done since 2004.
Technically, yes, but it's quite a bit easier to project with the gift of hindsight.
"DONE" lost meaning as a bold prediction when we discovered it just meant "won't win another championship." And we pointed out how screwed up the belief was that the Pistons were "less DONE" than the Spurs back in .. '08 I think.
It's just a bit now. Has been for a long time.
So you're saying "done" is DONE? Sounds about right.
I don't remember saying (or thinking) that it was all that "bold". It was/is entertaining having fun with those that still thought/think that this core actually had another title in them, especially when it was pretty clear that they were built to fail over a 100 games-ish season.
