Attack Of The 50 Foot Cheerleader
Attack Of The 50 Foot Cheerleader
For some reason I just can't seem to finish State of Grace despite being a fan of Oldman, Penn and Harris.
Finding something else.
The Dark Knight Rises... bought it today to complete the trilogy.
Finally finished State of Grace. Rocked. But now I've gotta bounce, LOL!!
The Departed tonight? What y'all think?
Love King of Comedy. Might watch it again after Departed.
Watching some end of days/apocalypse stuff on H2.
Now watching After Hours, per Vinny's suggestion.
Watching "The Samourai." Pretty good.
Correction, great movie. Pretty slow though.
The Bourne Legacy... not bad and all but limited action which was a disappointment.
I realise they want to flesh out the story, set up a sequel or 2 and explain how deep the rabbit hole goes - but surely I didn't need to have that point rammed home every other second.
The backstory with Edward Norton and whatshisname could have been "more"... and they blew it by not having a confrontation of some sort between the 2.
IMO they were so busy setting up the new trilogy that they missed out on having more action. If you go back and watch The Bourne Identity you can see how it was done better the first time. I'm all for them continuing the series. If the story is good enough I'll forgive most mist-steps... but with limited action and a whole load of plot it felt like they didn't get the balance right
And IMO the Bourne series with Matt Damon did a hell of a job finding that balance between exposition and action.... it made them re-invent James Bond FFS!
Rented Drive. Took a while to grow on me, but it's good. 7/10
^ Great review, huh? This is why I'm paid the big bucks.
The best thing about Drive is the soundtrack.
I think you might be right.
Good flick, like I said, but I don't know where the fuck the 8's are coming from.
Been in a big Oldman kick lately, so I watched Romeo is Bleeding. Ridiculous, but strangely entertaining.
Sick of this. GOING TO GO FIND SOMETHING TO WATCH!!!!
rewatched Commando, and am trying to dig up the Russian remake of it
Re-watching Moneyball
The Fighter would have been garbage if not for Bale. Guy carried the movie. Wahlberg is ass.
Amy Adams was bangin' in The Fighter.
Watching God Bless America. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1912398/
Strikes me as a poor man's cross between The Professional and Falling Down.
^ big bucks
This movie is wack. 7.3? Fuck you, IMDB. Ha!
Public access?
My God, I agree with just about everything these characters are ranting about and yet I find them incredibly insufferable.
FUCK THIS MOVIE.
Want my money back. So steamed.
"Are you ADD, Juno?"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!1
Why me? WHY ME?
Thank God for the Pistons. (lol)
The Wrestler is awesome.
^ Who in dat? Mickey Rourke? If thats the movie I'm thinking of, it is really good. Liked it a lot.
Yessir.
P probably would have written it a little differently, of course.
FDR: American Badass is pretty fuckin' funny - well worth watching.
Lebowski on Starz. Ha!
I don't mind the ending to The Wrestler... but yes I would have done it differently.
1st ending and what I would have fought for: Dude suffers a serious injury in the last match and dies on the way to the hospital... the film would end at the funeral where almost no people show up... (less than 10)
2nd ending that the studio would prefer = he wins some kind of title in his "last match".. the girl runs into the ring and they hug... it's an all-out Disney ending
That said The Wrestler surprised me... what's more surprising is that Hulk Hogan claims the role was offered/written for him (which is a lie) and Ric Flair has apparently claimed that Randy the Ram is based on him and Flair LOVES the idea of wrestling forever! He lives his gimmick, which is why he's broke. Dude is lucky HHH will look after him until the day he dies
The Rush documentary on vh1 classic (again).
